Delete my Verge account

You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time.

The quickest way: in the app

1. Open Verge and tap your picture in the top-right corner to open Profile.
2. Tap Settings, then scroll to Account.
3. Tap Delete account and data, then Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Can't open the app?

If you've uninstalled Verge or lost your phone, email us and we'll delete your account for you:

1. Email our support email with the subject "Delete my Verge account".
2. Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you added to Verge, so we can find the account and confirm it's yours.
3. We'll confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (phone number, email, linked Google account).
• Your profile: name and phone number.
• Everything you've stored with Verge: accounts, balances, transactions, bills, goals and contributions.

Records kept only on your phone are removed when you delete your account in the app, sign out or uninstall Verge.

What we keep

Nothing from your account. If you emailed us, we may keep that email conversation for up to 12 months as a record of your request. If you're also on the waitlist, ask us in the same email and we'll remove that too.
